Val is an International Business Transformation, Innovation and Leadership Expert with over 20 years’ experience in working with business leaders
I help organisations and leaders become AI-fit — combining human-centred design with deep organisational change expertise to make AI adoption work for people, not around them.
Over the past two years, my work has centred on human-centred AI: building leadership programmes for the AI era, running AI Dialogues and Collaboration Labs, and designing organisational structures fit for how work actually happens now. I'm also Director of AI Strategy & Organisational Change at AI for All Global (AFA), driving responsible AI strategy and organisational change worldwide.
This builds on over 20 years leading business transformation and executive development — starting at KPMG and Grant Thornton, through interim leadership roles across Europe, the US, Africa, and Asia, and faculty positions at Warwick, London Business School, the Singapore Institute of Management, and the Hernstein Institute in Vienna.
I hold a PhD in Economic Psychology and Sociology, a postgraduate qualification from Harvard, and a certificate in Applied AI from MIT. I live and work between London and Vienna, and speak German and English fluently.
