Val specialises in working with organisations that are dealing with transformational change and innovation challenges by adapting strategy and aligning leaders and organisations. Her mission is to co-create and deliver customised, innovative and future-focused solutions that transform the leadership, organisation and workforce of her clients. She relishes her role as a trusted advisor and thought partner for business leaders, providing strategic leadership in designing and delivering both small and large-scale change initiatives, on a local or global basis.

Val started her consulting career with KPMG and later with Grant Thornton, where she worked with major clients across the Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, Technology, Automotive and Manufacturing industries in the UK, Europe, US, Africa and Japan. She later undertook various interim roles, designing and leading strategic business change initiatives triggered by software implementation and regulatory changes. This led Val to transition to a Director-level role in which her key responsibilities were to reposition and innovate a business, and to develop a digital service-line offering, before she returned to consulting and leadership development.

In parallel with her business consulting activities, Val has also built up over 20 years' expertise in designing and delivering Executive Development programmes. Val currently holds Teaching Fellow positions at the WMG Group at University of Warwick, London Business School, the Singapore Institute of Management and the Hernstein Institute for Management and Leadership (Vienna, Austria) where she designs and delivers Executive Development programmes in Strategy, Innovation & Change and Leadership.

Val holds a Ph.D. in Economic Psychology and Sociology, and a post-graduate qualification in Management and Administration from Harvard University. She is certified in Organisational Change and Group Dynamics, is an accredited Business and Leadership Coach and a certified Prince 2 Practitioner.
